Small entrance fee for what you will learn about this very historical area. There is a very educational 12 minute video from 2000 that a local historian narrated with reenactors. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Visitor center has wonderful displays to tell the history of this area.
For pennies its very informative and entertaining. Its a beautiful park to spend a morning or afternoon in watch out for spiders though. Nice little museum that holds artifacts and you can watcha video of the battle.

Beautiful state park. A wonderful place to have a picnic with the family. Lots of covered picnic tables. It's so clean and well maintained. The museum has a lot of history in it and it also has a 12 min video about the battle. The park ranger was very helpful and nice.
Historical, quiet,and beautiful, we spent an afternoon exploring the start of the 2nd Indian War. It is fascinating and so sad....for both sides.
