They are unfair and never give the chance of innocent till proven guilty, they automatically assume everyone is guilty

This place is unbelievable as they will treat everyone as guilty without cause. They outright lie. We had a family member sent here and were told to pick up the house keys so we could get into his house and get his dog who was there without food and water. They front desk girl lied and said keys can never be released. It took us going to the Sheriff website and reading the question and answer section about the jail to see that keys are in fact allowed to be released to family members if the person signed of on it. They made us wait for almost five hours and continually lied while we patiently sat there waiting for the keys. We understand that many people are probably not nice to the staff when they find out their family members have been incarcerated but we were kind and calm the entire time. We had to tell the lady at the front that the website clearly stated that keys are to be released and if there was a problem we were to contact the jail administrator. When we mentioned that her nasty attitude changed and she finally got us the keys. It is a terrifying situation when someone is arrested, especially for the first time. None of us have even had a speeding ticket so all of this is new to us and we really needed someone to be honest and help us understand the process and the staff had no interest in being helpful. I am disgusted with the poor treatment and I hope that they can do something about this. In the past I have been a great supporter of law enforcement and feel they are so underappreciated in our society but the folks we dealt with gave me such a bad experience I now can understand why some people dislike law enforcement. I still believe they are an amazing group of dedicated people but we obvious just encountered a few bad examples.

Of the charges against them.
